Job Description

Join a dynamic team working on the YVR-6 Amazon project, involving indoor electrical installations such as wire pulling, mounting electrical cabinets and devices, and bending conduit up to 1 inch. This role provides an opportunity to work with Amazon's latest conveyor and shipping systems.

Responsibilities

• Pull wire and mount electrical cabinets and devices.
• Bend conduit up to 1 inch.
• Work with electrical systems integral to Amazon's conveyor and shipping systems.
• Possess the ability to bend conduit up to 1 inch.
• Be an Indentured 1st Year Apprentice or above.
• Have experience in a commercial or industrial construction setting.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Fall-pro and AWP certification.
• Experience with conveyor or warehouse manufacturing electrical systems.
• Experience with Amazon builds.

Parking is conveniently located in front of the warehouse. The crew will grow to approximately 20 individuals by the end of June. The project runs until late October. Work hours are from 7 am to 3:30 pm, with overtime available after 40 hours per week. The site is located at #5213 N Fraser Way, Burnaby, BC V5J 5M1.

Job Type & Location

This is a contract position based in Burnaby, British Columbia.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range is $20.55 - $41.10 per hour.
