Job Description

We are currently seeking an Electrician to work around Southampton and the surrounding areas, specializing in EICRs, repairs, and maintenance within social housing. This role starts temporarily at £25 per hour, with the potential to become a permanent position.

The Electrician will be responsible for:

1. Completing EICR tests of full properties
2. Signing off electrical tests
3. Fault finding and fixing urgent C1 and C2 faults
4. Communicating and liaising with tenants
5. Traveling to different sites to conduct electrical tests

Ideal candidates will have:

• Experience in electrical testing
• Experience working on social housing contracts
• A full UK driving license
• A clear criminal record (DBS checks required)
• 18th edition and AM2 qualifications

In return, the Electrician will receive:

• £25 per hour, approximately £40,000 annually
• Company van and fuel card from day one
• Permanent position after 12 weeks with a salary of £40,000 after probation
