Job summary

Power Precision Inc. in Bathurst, New Brunswick, is seeking a skilled Electrical Technician to join our team.

In a fast-paced industrial environment, you will support the assembly, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical equipment, both in our shop and at customer sites. Applicants should hold a licensed electrician or related credential and have 1–2 years of hands-on panel shop or industrial electrical experience, including reading electrical drawings.

Qualifications

  • Licensed Electrician, Registered Electrical Apprentice (Construction and/or Industrial), or Electrical Technologist.
  • Equivalent combinations of education, training, and relevant electrical experience will be considered.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of hands-on experience in a panel shop, control panel assembly, or industrial/commercial electrical environment.
  • Proficiency in reading electrical drawings and schematics.

Responsibilities

  • Test, repair, and assemble electrical equipment and related components in accordance with specifications.
  • Read and interpret electrical AC and DC schematics.
  • Perform maintenance, repair, and installation of electrical equipment at customer sites.
  • Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate diagnostic tools.
  • Electrical point to points, labeling on all wiring including wiring integrity; complete required documentation.

We are currently seeking a skilled andmotivated Electrical Technician to join our team in Bathurst, New Brunswick.Working in a fast-paced industrial environment, the successful candidate willsupport the assembly, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electricalequipment, both within our shop environment and at customer sites. This rolerequires hands-on technical expertise, a strong commitment to safety andquality, and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a skilled team.

Duties and responsibilities include, but arenot limited to:

  • Test, repair, and assemble electrical equipment andrelated components in accordance with specifications
  • Read and interpret electrical AC and DC schematics
  • Perform maintenance, repair, and installation ofelectrical equipment at customer sites
  • Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriatediagnostic tools
  • Electrical point to points, labeling on allassociated wiring including wiring integrity
  • Redlineand mark up drawings as required
  • Be familiar with industry specific codesand Standards (CEC, IEEE, NETA)
  • Abilityto work effectively in both indoor and outdoor work environments
  • Carryout such other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned
  • Environmental requirements will range from frequent tooccasional lifting, carrying, bending and reaching
  • Followall safety policies and procedures and use PPE as required

Education Requirements
