Base pay range: CA$83,890.00/yr - CA$106,234.00/yr

Remote Work & Location

Reporting & Purpose

Reports to: Regional Business Manager or Engineering Manager

Purpose: Collaborate with other team leads, oversee technical and project requirements, and contribute to service line growth.

Key Responsibilities

1. Manage workload and ensure engineering quality.
2. Build and maintain client relationships and oversee operational management.
3. Forecast staffing needs and motivate, train, and mentor team members.
4. Provide technical oversight and expertise on projects.
5. Develop career paths and conduct performance appraisals.
6. Support proposal development and technical capability enhancement.
7. Act as senior client contact and oversee project design and reports.
8. Ensure safety policies are followed.
9. Stay current with discipline changes and establish operational standards.
10. Attract new business and collaborate on large projects.
11. Manage project timelines and budgets, and analyze data for business decisions.
12. Obtain necessary security clearances and safety certificates.

Qualifications & Experience

• Hold P.Eng., C.E.T., PL.Eng., or AScT designation in Western Canada.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Diploma in Engineering Technology.
• Minimum 8+ years experience under a Senior Engineer’s supervision.
• Valid class 5 driver’s license.
