Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in Canada seeks an Electrical Superintendent to lead field activities for electrical construction, commissioning, and systems completion with a strong focus on safety and quality. The role involves supervising crews and subcontractors, coordinating installation and testing, and ensuring adherence to company procedures.

The ideal candidate brings 10+ years in electrical/system delivery, PTW and LOTO experience, and a proven track record of guiding site teams through all project

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent combination of education and practical experience.
• 10+ years of electrical and/or systems-delivery experience.
• Experience working in safety‑critical environments with PTW and LOTO procedures.
• Proven success leading site teams and coordinating subcontractors through all phases of project execution.

Responsibilities

• Provide field leadership for electrical construction, commissioning, and systems completion activities.
• Supervise personnel and subcontractors, ensuring safety, quality and compliance with procedures.
• Review designs for constructability, sequencing, standards and contract compliance.
• Prepare weekly scheduling reports and monitor major subcontracts and project schedules.
• Authorize work using PTW and LOTO procedures.
