Job summary

MacLean Engineering & Marketing Co Limited is seeking an Electrical Sub-Assembler in Barrie, ON to join our growing aftermarket production team. The role focuses on assembling electrical components, testing to specifications, and ensuring safety and quality in every build.

You will read engineering drawings, cut wires, crimp and solder terminals, and collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering to resolve non-conformances. Weekend shifts are possible with competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in a related discipline is preferred.
• 1–2 years of electrical experience is an asset.
• Experience reading and interpreting electrical schematics is an asset.
• Familiarity with hand and power tools used in assembly is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics to build and test electrical circuits and simple panels.
• Cut wires to specified length, label, and install as specified.
• Crimp/solder wire terminals and finish as required.
• Fabricate enclosures by drilling, tapping, and sealing.
• Test and inspect assemblies for safety, quality and conformance to specs.
