Job summary

Valard Construction is hiring a Quality Inspector to manage quality on electrical utility projects across Canada. You will inspect electrical and civil installations, implement the Quality Program, and assemble Progressive Turnover Packages.

The role requires 14 days on / 7 days off, with FIFO from major airports. Reporting to the Quality Manager, you will liaise with client and sub-contractor QA personnel, review conformance to IFC drawings, and maintain the Master Punch List.

Qualifications

• Previous QA / QC experience in construction projects.
• Available to work 14 days on / 7 days off across Canada.
• Strong ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.

Responsibilities

• Execute quality assurance and quality control activities on project sites.
• Follow Quality Manual, project Quality Plans and ITPs.
• Review assemblies for conformance to IFC drawings and specs; flag deficiencies.
