Job summary

Schneider Electric in Edmonton is seeking a Quality Control Inspector to support the Global Supply Chain at the Edmonton Plant. You will perform simple quality control on incoming materials and manufactured products, following strict instructions and procedures.

The role requires reading wiring diagrams, calibrating test equipment, and troubleshooting. A two-year associate degree in IET or related field and prior electrical inspection experience are expected; overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• Realizes simple quality control operations of incoming materials, components, and manufactured products.
• Application of strict working instructions and fixed operating procedures; no basic training or lengthy experience required.
• Other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Inspect all electrical equipment produced and ensure proper function.
• Ensure equipment is electrically and mechanically safe.
• Calibrate and maintain test equipment.
• Read wiring diagrams and have troubleshooting skills.
• Program drives and set up per customer requirements.
• Other duties as assigned.
