Houle is seeking an energetic Project Manager/Estimator for our Victoria Service division. You will manage electrical service projects from estimating through scheduling and financials while collaborating with clients to deliver on-time, on-budget outcomes.

Qualifications

• Electrical trade certificate, Electrical Engineering degree or Electrical Technologist diploma/certificate required.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in Electrical Project Management and/or Estimating in a related industry.
• Experience estimating projects and/or change orders.
• Experience in electrical service (commercial projects) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work with clients and identify potential business opportunities.
• Estimate projects and submit tenders.
• Review contracts for onerous clauses and conditions.
• Maintain good relationship with suppliers, consultants, general contractors and end users.
• Manage project financials (including billing), purchasing, schedules and labour.
• Mitigate project risk, deficiencies and estimate changes as needed.
• Work with internal stakeholders, field staff and customers, to ensure projects remain on track, on budget and meet expectations.
• Be present on jobsites when required.
• Review the project at completion with the foreman and superintendent to discuss successes and challenges.
