Job summary

Smith + Andersen is seeking an Electrical Project Manager for our Hamilton office. You will lead complex building service projects, coordinate with clients, consultants, and contractors, and ensure timely delivery within budgets and schedules.

The role emphasizes communication, leadership, and adherence to codes and LEED practices. The ideal candidate brings 3+ years of electrical project experience, strong coordination abilities, and a track record of delivering large-scale projects across

Qualifications

• 3+ years of project engineering in electrical building services.
• Senior CET or equivalent experience considered.
• Strong leadership and independent working ability.
• Ability to coordinate with consultants and contractors.

Responsibilities

• Prepare system engineering concepts and design briefs.
• Prepare calculations and equipment selections; supervise designers/BIM technicians.
• Review installation impact and ensure shop drawing timelines.
• Coordinate documents with internal/external teams (architect, designer).
• Communicate requirements to project teams and authorities having jurisdiction.
• Ensure projects stay within budgets and schedules; manage procurement methods.
