Qualifications

• Proficiency with discipline-specific design and calculation tools.
• Ability to perform detailed code analyses and integrate compliant design solutions.
• Experience with building systems layout design and constructability considerations.
• Knowledge of TQM processes and application to design deliverables.
• Strong problem solving and clear communication in a deadline-driven consulting environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform discipline-specific engineering calculations and equipment selections using standardized tools.
• Design and develop layouts for building systems on small to medium complexity projects.
• Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, and suppliers for design support and equipment selection.
• Use BIM tools to support system design, coordination, and documentation.
• Support construction administration and site activities, including shop drawings and site reviews.
• Maintain quality standards by completing and reviewing checklists and documentation.
• Review and support the work of junior team members and provide technical guidance.
