Job summary

Webuild, a global construction leader, seeks an Electrical Package Manager to drive on-site electrical delivery for major infrastructure projects in Canada. You will own underground works, slab embedments, building systems, and external services, coordinating with civil, structural, mechanical, and architectural teams to ensure early installation and alignment with IFC drawings and project schedules.

The role requires 8–12 years in electrical construction management, a related degree, and strong

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related technical field.
• Electrical trade qualification or site supervisory certification is an asset but not mandatory.
• PMP/LEED certification are an asset.
• 8–12 years of progressive experience in electrical construction management on large projects.
• Proven track record delivering full electrical packages on infrastructure, industrial, or transportation projects.
• Experience with embedded electrical systems, slab coordination, and power distribution.
• Familiarity with IFC drawings, shop drawings, and single-line diagrams.
• Proficiency with construction management tools (MS Project, Procore).
• Experience with BIM coordination and model review is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Own the electrical package delivery on site including underground works and building systems.
• Ensure works follow IFC drawings, specifications, and approved method statements.
• Manage subcontractors and sequencing to meet the project schedule.
• Coordinate with civil, structural, mechanical and architectural teams for embedded services.
• Verify underground and slab-on-grade electrical services and duct banks.
• Interface with offsite utility providers for coordination.
• Conduct daily site inspections for quality and safety.
• Monitor progress, prepare look-ahead schedules, and track progress.
• Review RFIs and shop drawings to resolve technical queries promptly.
• Lead weekly site coordination meetings with subcontractors and stakeholders.
• Plan and complete all electrical testing, commissioning to meet milestones.
• Track materials and ensure timely deliveries to site.
• Maintain as-built docs and support handover documentation.
• Enforce HSE compliance across electrical activities.
• Resolve field issues to maintain construction progress.
• Close out punch lists with QA/QC team.
