Job summary

NAC Constructors Ltd. is seeking an intermediate Electrical/Mechanical Coordinator to support the Wastewater Treatment Plant project in Brighton, Ontario.

You will assist with project execution, coordination, and quality activities throughout construction, and participate in commissioning and start-up phases. The successful candidate will have strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and solid documentation control and project coordination skills, working on a major Canadian

Qualifications

• Construction-related education (degree/diploma) in mechanical or electrical discipline preferred.
• Construction experience or an equivalent combination of technical training and experience.
• Proficient in construction contract drawing and specification interpretation.
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
• Team player, able to work under high pressure.
• High level of initiative and keen interest in technical problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Thorough understanding and interpretation of the full scope of the project work.
• Serve as the key contact for suppliers, subcontractors, and purchasing for coordination of external goods and services.
• Prepare job status reports and other reports for senior management.
• Complete mobilization and demobilization of site offices, furnishing, utilities, and communications.
• Maintain accurate cost reports; assist the Project Manager with quarterly forecasts.
• Maintain project schedules using CPM scheduling tools and Planning Aid reports.
