Job summary

The Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre is seeking an experienced Electrician to lead operation, maintenance and monitoring of all electrical systems across the hospital grounds. You will ensure reliable power, safety compliance and energy efficiency in a complex clinical environment.

Reporting to the Manager Facilities & Biomedical Services, you will coordinate with coordinators for Physical Plant and Electrical/Controls projects, supervise maintenance tasks, and support rapid response

Qualifications

Valid Inter‑Provincial Certificate of Qualifications & Ontario College of Trades (current) for Electrician – Construction and Maintenance.
Minimum of five years experience in building electrical and automation systems maintenance and operation.
Knowledge of Occupational Health & Safety Act requirements.
CMMS planning and preventative maintenance experience.

Responsibilities

Lead operation, maintenance and monitoring of all electrical equipment, services and systems for the hospital.
Report to Manager Facilities & Biomedical Services and Coordinators (Physical Plant, Mechanical, Electrical, Controls and Systems).
