Lamb Weston Holdings, Inc. in Taber, AB is seeking an Electrical Journeyman I to install, inspect and repair electrical systems and equipment with supervision based on location skills, and to efficiently respond to line calls.

The role emphasizes preventative maintenance and accurate SAP documentation. The candidate will perform preventative maintenance tasks, document work in SAP and CMMS, and support a safe, efficient operation.

Qualifications

• Effectively communicate in English verbally and in writing.
• Understand and follow instructions in English (written and oral).
• Able to be qualified within facility time frames.
• Basic math functions required.
• Basic computer operation, data entry, and MS Office proficiency.
• Apply common sense to written, oral, or diagram instructions.
• Handle problems with several concrete variables in standard situations.
• Preferred Journeyman Electrician ticket.

Responsibilities

• Installs electrical systems and components.
• Inspects and maintains existing electrical systems for safety and function.
• Diagnoses and repairs electrical issues promptly and efficiently.
• Performs preventative electrical testing and adjustments; documents work in SAP.
• Updates CMMS with status and details of work orders daily.
• Performs non-routine maintenance jobs as assigned.
• Maintains organized workspaces, tools, 5S, and documentation.

Job Description Summary

This position analyzes and corrects electrical problems and repairs and overhauls electrical equipment and controls with supervision dependent on location’s skills matrix.The position efficiently responds to line calls and conduct preventative maintenance on a regular basis.

Basic & Preferred Qualifications
