Job summary

Merit Ontario is seeking an experienced Electrical Foreman to lead crews, manage projects, and ensure work is completed safely, on time, and on budget. This hands-on leadership role requires coordinating electrical projects from start to finish, enforcing ESA standards, supervising labour and materials, and communicating with clients and trades.

Travel between job sites and on-call duties are included, with emphasis on safe, high-quality workmanship and accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of on-site electrical experience.
• Licensed electrician (309A).
• Fire alarm certification may be required.
• First Aid certification preferred.
• Proven leadership and supervisory experience.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Solid understanding of electrical codes and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise field crews and active job sites.
• Plan, coordinate, and execute electrical projects from start to finish.
• Ensure all work meets ESA standards and company expectations.
• Manage labour, materials, and daily site operations.
• Communicate with project coordinator, project manager, clients and other trades.
• Maintain accurate job documentation and reporting.
• Promote and enforce a strong safety culture on-site.
• Troubleshoot issues and adapt to changing project needs.
