Job summary

Merit Ontario is seeking an experienced Electrical Foreman to lead crews on residential, commercial, and industrial sites across Ontario. This hands-on leadership role requires overseeing projects from start to finish, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years on-site electrical experience, a 309A license, fire alarm and first aid certifications, and proven supervisory skills. Travel between sites is required, with overtime opportunities.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of on-site electrical experience.
• 309A Construction & Maintenance Electrician License.
• Fire Alarm Certification.
• First Aid Certification.
• Proven leadership and supervisory experience.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Solid understanding of electrical codes and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise field crews and active job sites.
• Plan, coordinate, and execute electrical projects from start to finish.
• Ensure all work meets ESA standards and company expectations.
• Manage labour, materials, and daily site operations.
• Communicate with project coordinator, project manager, clients and other trades.
• Maintain accurate job documentation and reporting.
• Promote and enforce a strong safety culture on-site.
• Troubleshoot issues and adapt to changing project needs.
• Travel between job sites.
