Job summary

Signify is seeking an assembly technician to join our manufacturing team in Canada. The role involves assembling, wiring, inspecting, testing and packaging fixtures on an assembly line or workbench, following blueprints and diagrams, and performing quality checks with standard control plans.

Applicants should have a High School Diploma or GED and at least 1 year in manufacturing, with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and to stand for long periods.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 1+ years of experience in manufacturing facility assembling fixtures or electrical/electronic parts.
• Ability to physically move materials used in the production area; lift up to 50 lbs.
• Familiar with hand and power tools (drivers, screwdrivers, wire strippers, etc.).
• Capable of standing for long periods of time during shift.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, wire, inspect, test and package fixtures via an assembly line or workbench process efficiently without quality defects.
• Follow blueprints, assembly drawings, and/or wiring diagrams.
• Perform quality checks consistent with the inspection and control plans.
• Use hand tools and power tools to secure parts.
