Qualifications

  • Pursuing graduation in 2027 or recently graduated with an Electrical Engineering degree.
  • Strong knowledge of power systems and electrical design fundamentals.
  • Coursework in electric circuits, power electronics, and electric machines.
  • MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) proficiency.
  • Co-op or relevant work terms in EE design are an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Industrial electrical design for LV, MV and HV power distribution including single line diagrams and protection schemes.
  • Electrical system modelling using EasyPower/ETAP and conducting arc flash studies.
  • Developing technical specifications, reports and construction work packages.
  • Power system control programming, commissioning and on-site implementation.
  • Collaborating with project teams, clients and vendors.
