Job summary

South Bow is seeking an Electrical Engineering Summer Student for a 4-month term starting May 2027. You will support the Facility Integrity & Reliability team with data management, technical documentation, inspection program support, and engineering project coordination.

Actively enrolled in Electrical Engineering; transcripts are required. You will help develop a comprehensive equipment dashboard, review PdMA and M36 reports, and provide data entry and verification for commissioning activities,

The Opportunity: South Bow is seeking an Electrical Engineering Summer Student beginning May 2027 for a 4 month work term. The successful candidate will support the Facility Integrity & Reliability team through data management, technical documentation, inspection program support, and engineering project coordination activities.

What You’ll Do:

• Electrical Equipment Management and Reliability Develop a comprehensive equipment dashboard linking: Drawings Spare parts Maintenance history Inventory status Implement a spare parts usage tracking and notification process to: Track operation and maintenance history. Trigger inspections and follow-up actions. Improve lifecycle management. Automate inspection analytics to provide proactive alarming and emerging risk identification.
• Electrical Inspection Program Support Review PdMA and M36 test reports and document findings, build dashboard to update and analyze annual results.
• General Project Support Perform data entry and verification activities for commissioning activities. Track action items, recommendations, and project deliverables. Provide administrative and technical support for ongoing integrity and reliability initiatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• Actively enrolled in a post-secondary program focused on Electrical Engineering.
• Must provide transcripts upon application.
