Job summary

South Bow is seeking a Supply Chain Summer Student in Calgary, Alberta, for a 4-month term beginning May 2027 to support the SCM team on a major project. You will gain hands-on experience in procurement, vendor onboarding, contract records, and data analysis.

You will assist with RFIs/RFQs/RFPs, purchase orders, and reporting, coordinating with Project Controls, Engineering, Construction, Operations, and Finance to meet project needs.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a post-secondary program focused on Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field.
• Transcript required upon application.

Responsibilities

• Assist with sourcing and procurement activities, including RFIs, RFQs, RFPs, bid evaluations, and award recommendations.
• Support purchase order creation, tracking, and closeout activities.
• Maintain supplier and contract records in company systems.
• Compile and analyze procurement, contract, and supplier performance data.
• Prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations to support SCM decision-making.
• Assist with vendor onboarding, qualification, and compliance documentation.
• Coordinate with Project Controls, Engineering, Construction, Operations, and Finance teams to support project requirements.

The Opportunity:

South Bow is seeking a Supply Chain Summer Student beginning May 2027 for a 4 month work term to support the Supply Chain team on a major project.

What You’ll Do:

• Assist with sourcing and procurement activities, including RFIs, RFQs, RFPs, bid evaluations, and award recommendations.
• Support purchase order creation, tracking, and closeout activities.
• Maintain supplier and contract records within company systems.
• Compile, review, and analyze procurement, contract, and supplier performance data.
• Prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations to support SCM decision-making.
• Support contract administration activities, including document management, change tracking, and commercial correspondence.
• Assist with vendor onboarding, qualification, and compliance documentation.
• Coordinate with Project Controls, Engineering, Construction, Operations, and Finance teams to support project requirements.
• Track procurement milestones, commitments, and deliverables.

Minimum Requirements:

• Actively enrolled in a post-secondary program focused on Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field.
• Must provide transcripts upon application.
