As an Electrical Engineering Student in Pickering, Ontario, you will be part of the proven team in theDesign Engineering Business Line in the Installed Base Business Unit. Your work will include:

• Assists all levels of engineers with their tasks and assignments in support of local nuclear facilities.
• Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
• Works under immediate supervision.
  
• Extracts and compiles engineering data, processes computer data using specified formulas and procedures.
  
• Prepares data and process input information for computer programs, selects appropriate programs to obtain results required and prepares output data in usable form.
• Performs routine analysis to check applicability, accuracy of data.
  
• Prepares rough drawings and sketches and lists of materials following standard practices from instructions furnished by engineers, designers or other technical employees.
  
• Performs other technical tasks to assist engineers in the performance of their duties following standard procedures.
  
• May perform CAD (computer aided design) design.
  
• Scan/copy drawings and provide other general administrative support activities as needed
  
• Assists project engineers with design, procurement, fabrication, installation and startup
  
• Assists plant and maintenance engineers with equipment repair trouble shooting, instrumentation and preventive maintenance procedures, spare parts, etc.
  
• May require assisting in performance of testing, data acquisition and data analyses
  
• To play an active role in creating a safe and healthy workplace and comply with all applicable safety and health rules.
