Job summary

Zekelman Industries’ Atlas Tube facility in Harrow, ON, is offering an on-site Intern, Electrical Engineer role from May to August 2027. You will work with engineering, maintenance, controls, and production teams to support safe, reliable plant operations and gain hands-on experience with electrical systems in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics, or related field.
Introductory exposure to PLCs, automation concepts, and electrical engineering.
Ability to read technical diagrams and willingness to learn in a manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

Support electrical engineering and controls projects to improve equipment and operations.
Assist with basic troubleshooting, testing, and issue resolution with team members.
Review drawings and equipment docs with guidance from seasoned engineers.
Collect data on equipment performance and assist maintenance and CI activities.
