Job Description

As the energy transition accelerates, you will play a key role in clean energy projects related to hydroelectric facilities. You will work within our Protection and Control (P&C) team on multidisciplinary mandates, including turbine-generator refurbishment, auxiliary services, and automation in Hydro-Québec power plants. This role offers collaboration with experienced professionals and opportunities for training.

We support a flexible hybrid work model, allowing you to work from home or one of our offices in Sherbrooke, Granby, Montreal, Longueuil, or Saguenay.

Primary Responsibilities

• Design protection and control systems for turbine-generator sets, instrumentation, control networks, and auxiliary systems.
• Create electrical system diagrams, wiring drawings, and material lists.
• Develop DC power systems and prepare specifications for equipment manufacturing and installation.
• Collaborate with engineers and technicians on technical tasks and project meetings.
• Coordinate with other engineering disciplines and participate in site surveys and start-up services.

Qualifications

• University degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Member or eligible for registration with the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ).
• Over seven years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of electrical distribution, control, and protection systems.
• Proficiency in MS Office and fluency in French and English.
• Autonomous, resourceful, and project-oriented mindset.
