Arcadis is the world’s leading design, engineering and consultancy firm serving ports, marine terminals and waterfront infrastructure. We seek an Electrical Engineer to join our Ports and Marine team, contributing to planning, design, coordination and delivery of electrical systems for complex port projects.

This role offers exposure from feasibility through commissioning in a collaborative, multi‑disciplinary environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized university.
• P.Eng. or eligibility for registration with provincial engineering association (preferred).
• Experience designing ports, marine, transportation, industrial, waterfront, or infrastructure projects.
• Knowledge of medium/low voltage power distribution, shore power, grounding and bonding, backup power/UPS, lighting, communications, and cable routing.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, MicroStation, Revit, ETAP, SKM is an asset.
• English required; French would be an asset.

Responsibilities

• Support design and engineering of electrical systems for port/marine projects.
• Prepare technical reports, calculations, drawings, specifications, layouts and load studies.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams across project lifecycle.
• Assist with site visits, inspections, commissioning support, and operational troubleshooting.
• Contribute to proposals, feasibility studies, and cost estimates.
