You will design electrical building systems for diverse projects and take ownership from concept to construction, collaborating with clients and multidisciplinary teams.

The role offers leadership opportunities, mentorship of junior staff, and involvement in proposals and best practices within a collaborative electrical practice.

Qualifikationen

• 5–10 years of experience in electrical building systems design within an engineering consulting environment.
• P.Eng designation in Ontario, or actively working toward registration with Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO).
• Strong knowledge of applicable electrical codes and building codes.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD; Revit and BIM experience are assets.

• Design and develop electrical building systems for commercial, institutional, residential, and existing-building renewal projects.
• Work on electrical distribution, lighting and lighting controls, emergency power, fire alarm, and life-safety systems.
• Take ownership of projects from initial assessment and design through construction administration and completion.
• Prepare electrical drawings, specifications, feasibility studies, design reports, and cost estimates.
• Conduct site investigations, building assessments, and construction field reviews.

• Support project planning, scope development, budgeting, scheduling, and technical quality reviews.

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or diploma in Electrical Engineering Technology.
• 5-10 years of experience in electrical building systems design within an engineering consulting environment.
• Experience designing electrical systems for commercial, institutional, residential, or building renovation and retrofit projects.
• P.Eng designation in Ontario, or actively working toward registration with Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO).
• Strong knowledge of applicable electrical codes, building codes, and industry standards.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD; Revit and BIM experience are considered assets.
• Experience producing electrical drawings, specifications, technical reports, and construction documentation.
• Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
• Interest in developing project management, client relationship, and leadership capabilities.
• Valid driver's licence and access to reliable transportation.
