CIMA+ is seeking an Intermediate Electrical Engineer to join our Infrastructure team in Calgary, Edmonton, or Vancouver. You will contribute strong technical design capabilities and project coordination for municipal water/wastewater or industrial infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• P.Eng. in Alberta or British Columbia or eligible for registration.
• Approximately 7 years of electrical engineering experience in municipal water/wastewater or industrial infrastructure.
• Experience in detailed design, field coordination, and construction support.
• Strong understanding of Canadian Electrical Code and applicable standards.
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills; valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Support Project Manager and Senior Engineers in delivering electrical design assignments.
• Develop power distribution designs: single-line diagrams, site layouts, MCCs, standby/EMS, lighting, general distribution.
• Contribute to I&C designs for SCADA, including control panels, P&IDs, I/O lists, and networks.
• Prepare detailed designs, calculations, specs, and contract docs for water/wastewater or related facilities.
• Contribute to design reports, memos, cost estimates, tender docs, and drawings.
• Participate in field investigations, site inspections, and condition assessments.
