Job summary

Kiewit in Calgary, Canada is seeking Electrical Engineers with 5+ years in power and industrial design to join our Industrial sector. You will design electrical systems for large facilities, coordinate with construction teams and deliver solutions that perform in the field.

Candidate must hold a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering and P.Eng; experience with ETAP, SmartPlant, FEED/D/B/EPC; Canadian or US citizenship required; remote options may be considered on contract.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• Minimum 5+ years’ experience in electrical design for industrial facilities.
• Experience with ETAP or similar power-system analysis tools.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review electrical designs, schematics, and one-line diagrams for large industrial facilities.
• Coordinate design efforts with construction teams and other discipline engineers.
• Support FEED, D/B, EPC projects and provide mentoring to junior engineers.
