Qualifications

• Mid-level electrical design experience on EPC projects.
• Experience designing cable trays, grounding and lighting systems.
• Competent in 3D modeling and layout for electrical projects.
• Ability to size conduits and cable trays per NEC guidance.

Responsibilities

• Design cable tray, grounding and lighting systems from concept to completion
• Perform calculations to size conduit and cable tray fill per NEC
• Route electrical cables in a 3D environment to generate a cable schedule
• Layout electrical equipment in electrical buildings

This position is based out of our Calgary, Alberta office with opportunity for hybrid work.

Responsibilities

• Design cable tray, grounding and lighting systems from concept to completion
• Perform calculations to size and check allowable fill in conduits and cable tray systems according to NEC requirements
• Routes electrical cables in a 3D environment to generate a cable schedule
• Perform layout of electrical equipment in electrical buildings
• Develops 3D models utilizing drawings, sketches, and design skills
• Checks and navigates in the 3D models for interferences and constructability
• Perform calculations to size pull boxes according to NEC requirements
