Worley is seeking an Electrical Engineer for our Alberta operations, based in Calgary. You will deliver electrical engineering services, contribute to proposals, and support procurement, construction and commissioning activities across projects in the energy, chemicals and resources sectors.
The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and a Professional Engineer designation with APEGA or EGBC. Prior consulting and heavy industry project experience is highly valued.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and a Professional Engineer designation are required.
- Experience in engineering consulting and heavy industry projects is preferred.
- Familiarity with local and international electrical standards is expected.
Responsibilities
- Deliver electrical engineering services on time and within budget.
- Identify changes to project scope and assist with proposals and schedules.
- Support procurement, construction and commissioning activities.
- Prepare detailed designs, drawings, and reports.
- Stay current with developments in electrical engineering.
- Communicate effectively with project stakeholders and customers.
- Identify issues and develop practical solutions.
