Job summary

Pario Engineering & Environmental Sciences LP seeks a Sciences Electrical Engineer, Fire Investigator for Atlantic Canada. The role supports hybrid work with field duties across New Brunswick or Nova Scotia regions, including Dieppe NB and Dartmouth NS billing centers.

Office space may be available, with partial work-from-home arrangement based on experience and manager discretion. The candidate will assess origin and cause of fires and electrical failures, interview witnesses, and lead projects

  • Own vehicle and driver's license.

Responsibilities

  • Assess, analyze and report on the origin and cause fires.
  • Interview witnesses, service personnel and other local officials.
  • Inspections shall include roofs, attics, crawlspaces, partially destroyed buildings, fire damaged buildings, and elevated structures.
  • Recognize potential subrogation opportunities.
  • Ability to climb, work at heights, and work at all temperatures is required.
  • Assess the general safety of damaged fire structures.
  • Lead project(s) from start to finish.
  • Provide clear, accurate, and timely reports.
  • Assess, analyze and report on the origin and cause for electrical failures.
  • Familiar with CSA, ASTM, NFPA codes and applications for a range of mechanical and electrical equipment.
  • This is a site-based position.

  • Hybrid capacity supporting field requests in New Brunswick or Nova Scotia area.
