Job summary

Socomec Group North America is seeking a seasoned electrical engineer to lead Energy Storage Solutions projects from presales to commissioning, focusing on North American regulations and ETO project management. You will coordinate with local and global teams, drive system architecture, and ensure successful integration with customer systems.

Responsibilities include performing power system analyses, developing documentation, and supporting test plans while maintaining KPI targets for quality,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering; automation knowledge a plus.
• P.Eng. designation or in progress is an asset.
• 5 years’ experience in projects management, design and deployment in energy storage or related fields.
• Experience with energy storage, renewable energies, and low voltage systems is preferred.
• North American experience is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Act as technical expert for Energy Storage Solutions team in North America.
• Serve as the liaison between local team, Global R&D, and Engineering.
• Provide technical support at all project stages, remotely or on site.
• Assess feasibility, risks, and solutions per procedures and standards.
• Analyze data and power system studies to define solutions.
• Design energy storage and microgrid systems, including sizing and architecture.
