Job summary

Trojan Technologies is seeking an Intermediate Electrical Designer to develop electrical design solutions for custom UV disinfection equipment and systems. The role is hybrid, based in London, Ontario, with 3 days onsite and 2 days remote, and will coordinate across Sales, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, and Project Engineering teams.

You will create and maintain electrical schematics, panels, P&IDs, BOMs, and supporting documentation while ensuring compliance with customer, regulatory,

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering Technology, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in electrical design, industrial controls, panel design, or related engineering environment.
• Proficiency in electrical schematics, industrial control systems, and AutoCAD software.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications.

Responsibilities

• Developing electrical design solutions for custom UV disinfection equipment and systems.
• Creating and maintaining electrical schematics, panel drawings, P&IDs, bills of materials, and supporting documentation.
• Reviewing project specifications and ensuring designs meet customer, regulatory, and company requirements.
• Supporting project execution through collaboration with Sales, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, and Project Engineering teams.
• Participating in design reviews, commissioning support, and resolution of technical issues.
• Providing technical guidance to junior team members and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
