Job summary

Rimkus is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to lead design projects in our Ontario office. You will oversee electrical systems for commercial and high-rise sectors, ensuring code compliance and timely delivery.

Responsibilities include coordinating with clients, contractors and consultants, preparing designs and reports, and guiding project management from initial concept through construction and closeout.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in engineering with a specialization in Electrical Engineering.
• Professional Engineer stamps in Ontario or eligibility to obtain.
• Minimum 5+ years of project management experience at an engineering consulting firm.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide electrical engineering consulting services, including system evaluations, feasibility studies, and technical recommendations.
• Perform field reviews, testing, data collection, design, report, and specification writing.
• Lead tender process with contractors, bid reviews and client meetings.
• Coordinate project management activities to meet schedule and budget.
