Job summary

Gold Land Architects and Engineers is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to design, coordinate, and document electrical systems for new construction and renovations. You will collaborate with architects, mechanical engineers, and other consultants to deliver integrated, code-compliant designs across residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects.

The role requires 5+ years of building electrical design experience, proficiency in AutoCAD, and Revit familiarity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in building electrical design (consulting experience preferred)
• Proficiency in AutoCAD; Revit experience considered a strong asset
• Familiarity with Ontario Electrical Safety Code (OESC) and Ontario Building Code (OBC), Life Safety-related CSA standards such as CSA C282, CAN/ULC-S524, S537, etc.
• Strong understanding of building systems, load calculations, and lighting design
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• EIT or P.Eng. designation (or eligibility) preferred
• Dental care

• Coordinate with multidisciplinary project teams and external stakeholders
• Conduct site visits, reviews, and support construction phase services
• Assist in preparing permit documentation and responding to authority comments

About the Role

Work Location

The expected pay range for this role is $60,000 - 100,000 CAD per year.
