Job summary

AWC, a leader in water and wastewater treatment solutions, seeks an Electrical Design Technologist to drive drawing production and documentation. You will own electrical and I&C drawing packages and collaborate with engineers, fabrication, and procurement teams to ensure accurate, compliant deliverables.

You will contribute to FAT support, BOM generation, and the development of robust drawing standards while advancing the company’s design capabilities on complex projects.

Qualifications

• Detail-driven professional with ownership of technical documentation processes.
• Ability to manage multiple drawing packages and meet project deadlines.
• Experience with CAD/CAM tools in electrical design workflows.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and drafting of electrical and I&C project packages (SLDs, schematics, loop diagrams, layouts).
• Create and update drawings in AutoCAD Electrical and coordinate with electrical, mechanical, and process teams.
• Generate BOMs, drawing schedules and materials lists for fabrication and procurement.
• Assist FAT with electrical control panels and ensure compliance with codes and standards.
• Develop drawing templates, libraries, and document management practices.
