Job summary

Introba in Victoria, BC is seeking an Electrical Engineering Designer intern for summer 2027. You will gain hands-on experience across diverse projects, collaborating with engineers and drafters while learning through meaningful work.

You will apply codes and standards, work under supervision, and develop skills in drawings, calculations, and cost estimates for real projects.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelors in Electrical Engineering at an accredited university.
• Familiar with AutoCAD and Revit; basic engineering software experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication; able to document work clearly.
• Capable of working under supervision and collaborating in a team.

Responsibilities

• Become familiar with engineering plans and details.
• Perform quantity take-offs and assist with project monitoring.
• Assist with computer modeling and progress reports.
• Collaborate with engineers, drafters, and support staff.
• Contribute to engineering drawings, calculations, and cost estimates under supervision.
