Electrical Design Engineer

Job Purpose

Helping our Senior Electrical Design Engineers, you will design, test and where necessary, commission, electrical control systems for Baker Perkins machinery, meeting contractual / customer requirements.

Job Duties

Under the responsibility of our experienced teams, you will :

• Design our control panels , using our standard or designing from scratch
• Specify and issue electrical hardware parts lists according to contract specifications, specify technical requirements for bought out equipment
• Learn how to develop and produce PLC and HMI software (Siemens, Rockwell, Mitsubishi…)
• Produce machine functional specifications and test specifications
• Test equipment in our factory / test centre
• Progressively help the Commissioning Engineers, traveling to customer sites

Candidate Profile

• Qualified to an Engineering degree or BTEC Higher Certificate in Electrical / Electronic Engineering or equivalent
• Graduate or with a first experience : in Maintenance, Electrical design… in an industrial context
• Willing to learn and grow in a company that helps employees improve their skills.
• Ability and pleasure to travel around the world for some weeks per year
• Solution-driven and customer-oriented sensibility
• Team spirit and sense of commitment
