Job summary

Rexel Canada is seeking a Counter Sales Associate based in Scarborough, ON to service customers by phone and email, process orders, and handle quotations. You will confirm stock, suggest alternatives, and follow up on quotes to ensure exceptional service.

The role requires at least two years in counter sales within the electrical industry, strong communication, and solid computer skills, including AS400. A team-oriented mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of counter sales experience in the electrical industry.
• Proven ability to communicate effectively and build customer relationships.
• Strong multitasking and time management skills.
• Computer literate; AS400 experience is a plus.
• Electrical apprenticeship experience is an advantage.
• Team player with product knowledge of the electrical business is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Directly service customers via phone and email daily.
• Process orders, inquiries and quotations every day.
• Consistently achieve a high level of customer service.
• Confirm stock availability and suggest alternatives as required.
• Make follow-up calls to customers on quotations.
• Assist customers with any inquiries regarding ecommerce.
