Job summary

Curtiss-Wright Corporation in Stratford, ON invites an Electrical Assembly Technician to join our precision electro-mechanical assembly team. You will assemble and test devices per drawings, specifications and test procedures, interpret mechanical drawings, and set up tooling and production equipment to deliver high-quality products.

You will collaborate with colleagues under the supervision of the Operations Supervisor, maintain a clean safe work area, and contribute to finishing builds on

Qualifications

  • Two-year college technician certificate or equivalent.
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, specifications, and test procedures.
  • Knowledge of electro-mechanical assembly and testing principles.
  • Experience with tooling, fixtures, and production equipment.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble and test precision electro-mechanical devices in accordance with drawings, specifications, and test procedures.
  • Interpret and apply mechanical drawings, technical specifications, and work instructions.
  • Set up and operate appropriate tooling, fixtures, and production equipment.
  • Translate engineering and production documentation into accurate, high-quality assembled products
  • Perform testing and verification to ensure products meet quality and performance standards
  • Identify and communicate issues related to assembly, testing, or documentation
  • Work collaboratively within a team environment to meet production and quality objectives
  • Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work area
  • Report directly to the Operations Supervisor

Job description

Electrical Assembly Technician

We are looking for an Electrical Assembler Technician to join our Stratford facility, ON. The successful candidate will support the assembly and testing of precision electro-mechanical devices by applying technical knowledge, interpreting mechanical documentation, and operating specialized tooling and equipment. This role requires close collaboration with team members and direct reporting to the Operations Supervisor to ensure product quality and integrity.

Location: Stratford, ON Union Wage Rate: $27.85 per hour

Your Challenge
  • Assemble and test precision electro-mechanical devices in accordance with drawings, specifications, and test procedures.
  • Interpret and apply mechanical drawings, technical specifications, and work instructions.

What You Bring
