Johnson Controls is seeking an Electrical Apprentice to support installation, termination and assembly of electrical systems in a manufacturing environment. You will work under a Journeyperson to install wiring, panels, sensors and control devices, following safety policies and codes.

Experience with electrical maintenance and ability to read drawings is preferred. The role requires a high school diploma and active enrollment in an Alberta trade program, with overtime possible depending on

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Registered Apprentice Electrician with Alberta Apprenticeship and Industry Training (AIT) and actively enrolled in a trade school is required.
• Minimum of 500 hours of electrical experience is required.

Responsabilités

• Install and terminate conduit, cable, electrical equipment, panels, sensors and control components in compliance with codes and standards.
• Assist with construction and fabrication of control panels and rough‑in/finishing wiring for control systems.
• Assist with wiring verification and checkout to ensure proper operation.
• Assist with installation and maintenance of electrical systems following relevant codes (CEC, NEC, NESC, NFPA, UFC).
• Support preventive and predictive maintenance scheduling and material take‑offs.
