Candidates should possess the ability to :

• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, product pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos.
• Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
• Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
• Regularly lift and / or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and / or move up to 45 pounds, and occasionally lift and / or move up to 60 pounds.

The Opportunity : To assist in the proper maintenance of the store, particularly in the Produce Department and assist customers on the store floor as needed. The Utilities Clerk will properly bag groceries for customers when needed, carry out groceries if requested, and be responsible for store maintenance to ensure cleanliness and safety. Responsibilities include maintaining and retrieving store carts, running price checks, assisting with go-backs, check stand upkeep, and waste removal from the parking area.
