What You'll Bring

• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, product pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos.
• Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
• Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
• Regularly lift and / or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and / or move up to 45 pounds, and occasionally lift and / or move up to 60 pounds.

The Opportunity

Under direct supervision from the Bakery Manager, the Bakery Clerk provides customer service and conducts various tasks within the bakery. The Bakery Clerk provides friendly, courteous, and helpful service to the Bakery department, assists customers with bakery purchases, cleans shelving and display cases, and fills and rotates the self-serve displays. This position will also help in the department cleaning by hosing down the floors with soap and water to ensure cleanliness.

Food Handler Card or its equivalent certification is required for all positions related to : preparation, handling and serving food.
