A major copper mining operation in British Columbia is seeking an Engineer-in-Training to join their Environmental Department. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental, Civil, Chemical, Geological or Mining Engineering.
• Registered or eligible for registration as an Engineer-in-Training.
• Prior experience or co-op experience in mining or environmental management.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with health and safety codes and environmental permits.
• Participate in environmental monitoring programs and data analysis.
• Assist with environmental inspections and reporting to regulatory agencies.
