Job summary

Vintage Textured Wall Systems Inc. a division of Arsenault Bros. Construction in Atlantic Canada is seeking experienced EIFS Technicians to perform full system installation and finishing on commercial and residential projects.

Applicants should have 3–5 years of EIFS/Synthetic Stucco experience, a valid driver’s licence, and the ability to work at heights up to 70 ft. We offer competitive wages based on experience and opportunities for growth within a skilled trade team.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of EIFS/Synthetic Stucco experience (required)
  • Proven ability to complete full EIFS system installations independently
  • Valid driver’s licence with reliable transportation
  • Strong understanding of weatherproofing, flashing, and finish systems
  • Comfortable working at heights (scaffolding or lifts up to 70 ft)
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and contribute to a team environment
  • WHMIS, Fall Protection, and MEWP certifications considered an asset

Responsibilities

  • Perform full EIFS system installation and finishing
  • Lead small tasks within a crew and maintain production pace
  • Assist with material coordination and site organization
  • Assist with erecting and dismantling scaffolding
  • Support apprentices and labourers as needed
  • Safely operate scaffolding, lifts, and hand/power tools
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures
  • Work safely at heights up to 70 ft with required PPE

Location: NB / Atlantic Canada (travel required)

Vintage Textured Wall Systems Inc. specializes in EIFS (Exterior Insulation and Finish Systems) / Synthetic Stucco applications and restoration across Atlantic Canada. We are seeking experienced EIFS Technicians who take pride in their workmanship, understand full system installation, and bring a strong commitment to quality and safety on every project.

What You’ll Do:

As an EIFS Technician, you will perform full system installation and finishing while contributing to efficient, high-quality project delivery.

Key responsibilities include:

Full EIFS System Installation
  • Complete substrate preparation and system setup
  • Measure, cut, and install insulation boards
  • Install weather barriers, flashings, and system components
  • Execute basecoat, mesh embedding, and finish applications
  • Installation of decorative trims and architectural mouldings
Finishing & Detailing
  • Ensure walls are level, straight, and properly aligned (rasping and shaping)
  • Complete corners, angles, control joints, and decorative features
  • Apply high-quality finish coats using proper troweling techniques
  • Perform touch-ups, painting, and final detailing as required
Site Leadership & Efficiency
  • Work independently or lead small tasks within a crew
  • Maintain production pace while upholding workmanship standards
  • Assist with material coordination and site organization
  • Assist with erecting and dismantling scaffolding
  • Support apprentices and labourers as needed
Tools, Equipment & Safety
  • Safely operate scaffolding, lifts, and hand/power tools
  • Maintain tools and ensure proper jobsite setup
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures
  • Work safely at heights up to 70 ft. with required PPE
What We’re Looking For:
  • 3–5 years of EIFS/Synthetic Stucco experience (required)
  • Proven ability to complete full EIFS system installations independently
  • Valid driver’s licence with reliable transportation
  • Strong understanding of weatherproofing, flashing, and finish systems
  • Comfortable working at heights (scaffolding or lifts up to 70 ft.)

Work Environment:
  • Working outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Lifting materials up to 70 lbs
  • Frequent standing, kneeling, and repetitive movements
  • Working at heights using scaffolding and lifts
