Job summary

A leading infrastructure development company in Pickering, Ontario seeks an EHS Manager to oversee health and safety for the Pickering Nuclear Generating Station Refurbishment Project. You will lead a team of EHS Advisors, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations while promoting a culture of safety and inclusivity. The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of experience, strong leadership skills, and relevant safety certifications. Competitive salary range of $112,000 - $162,000 offered, depending on qualifications.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience coordinating and managing health and safety for construction projects.
• Previous experience in a leadership role required.
• Knowledge of Construction projects and OHSA regulations required.
• Experience in nuclear considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and guidance to the EHS department.
• Mentor supervisors and staff on EHS guidelines.
• Ensure effective risk mitigation plans are in place.
• Develop and facilitate EHS presentations to clients.
• Monitor and conduct behavioral observations in the workplace.
• Represent the Joint Venture at meetings regarding health and safety.
