The new member will be part of a team dedicated to the continuous improvement of OHS and environmental practices. They will participate in the development of the department's strategic plan within their field of expertise. This role offers a variety of tasks and emphasizes caring about the well-being of others. It is a key position reflecting Siemens Energy's commitment to its employees and the community.

How You’ll Make An Impact
  • Actively participate in the joint OHS committee (facilitation, planning, dissemination).
  • Follow up on actions with multidisciplinary teams resulting from injuries, "near misses," and audits.
  • Lead internal or corporate OHS and environmental initiatives (Zero Harm program).
  • Advise other departments on issues or situations needing resolution.
  • Maintain statistics and indicators related to OHS and the environment.
  • Serve as an internal auditor for the ISO9001-14001-45001 integrated system.
  • Ensure frequent and bilateral communication with personnel in your field of expertise.
What You Bring
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in OHS (advisor or manager) or similar responsibilities (e.g., production supervisor with OHS committee experience) in manufacturing.
  • College or university degree relevant to the position.
  • Experience in CNESST case management (asset).
  • Experience in a unionized environment (significant asset).
  • Good communication skills and attentive listening.
