Job summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and detail oriented technical business analyst with strong hands-on experience in data analysis, capital markets and working knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform PowerApps, Power Platform etc. The ideal candidate will work closely with stakeholders, data teams and technology partners to gather the requirements, analyze complex data sets, support the design of solutions and contribute to the digital transformation initiatives within capital market regulatory domain.
Key Responsibilities: • Engage with business and technology stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements. • Work with business stakeholders to understand their objectives, processes, and challenges in areas like trading, investment, and risk management. • Translate business requirements into functional specifications, user stories, data models and technical documents. • Perform deep-dive data analysis using SQL, Excel and BI tools to support business decisions and validate requirements. • Collaborate with data engineers and developers to design data solutions, ensuring alignment wit business goals and regulatory standards. • Participate in the design, development and support of low-code/no-code solutions usi ng Microsoft PowerApps and Power Automate. • Support project delivery through the entire SDLC, including testing, validation, and deployment phases. • Identify the gaps in current systems and processed; recommend improvements to enhance the system efficiency and accuracy.
Required Skills and experience:
•Good years of experience as business system analyst or technical BA with a strong background in data-intensive environments. • Hands on experience with SQL, data querying, data profiling and working with structured/unstructured data. • Solid understanding of Capital Markets, trading lifecycle, financial instrument (equities, fixed income, derivatives) and regulatory requirements (e.g. MiFID.) • Proven experience working with Microsoft power platform especially PowerApps. • Experience with reporting and BI tools. • Familiar with APIs, data integration concepts, and data modeling best practices. • String analytical and problem- solving skills with keen attention to detail. • Excellent communication skill to bridge technical and non-technical stakeholders. • Experience in regulatory/compliance reporting in capital markets.
Nice to Have: • Knowledge of agile frameworks (Scrum/kanban) and tools (Jira, confluence). • Understanding of Devops and CI/CD practices related to data workflows or PowerApps deployment.
