Base pay range

CA$95,000.00 / yr - CA$105,000.00 / yr

We are seeking an aspiring Product Manager with a problem-solving mindset in Calgary, AB. Reporting to the Director, Operations, the successful candidate will lead the development of our mobile applications and other measurement products. This role involves implementing business processes, ensuring their success, and developing technical skills for direct reports. You will support strategic and sales initiatives, including onboarding new clients and providing training to stakeholders.

We require a leader with operational knowledge, strategic and critical thinking skills, and the ability to influence stakeholders. This role is crucial in achieving Critical Control Technologies' vision of improving measurement processes for Oil and Gas operators.

What you’ll do

1. Lead the development and adoption of all Mobile Applications.
2. Steward the implementation of strategic initiatives and drive operational excellence.
3. Make project management decisions and coordinate their execution.
4. Collaborate with sales, marketing, product planning, and partners to enhance market intelligence and promote sales.
5. Create and deliver reports for internal stakeholders.
6. Engage in problem solving with stakeholders.
7. Articulate regulatory and industry standard changes affecting our products.
8. Identify and recommend improvements for existing software and new product development.
9. Coach and mentor team members to enhance operational excellence.
10. Supervise and guide personnel and departments towards organizational goals.

What you bring

1. Knowledge of oil and gas measurement industry and regulations (e.g., Directive 017, EPAP, BLM 3175, AGA, GPA, API).
2. Problem-solving and strategic thinking skills; strong project management and cross-functional collaboration experience.
3. Excellent communication, analytical, problem-solving, people management, and financial skills.
4. Ability to adapt to new environments and requirements.
5. Outgoing personality with consulting, facilitation, and conflict resolution skills.
6. Bias toward action and execution.

Minimum Qualifications

1. Post-secondary education in engineering.
2. 5-8 years of experience in oil and gas operations or project management.
3. Strong leadership skills.
