Music Teacher (Instrumental and Vocal)

We have a staff of 14,000 and are currently accepting applications for a Music Teacher for the Occasional Roster. The Board maintains a roster of temporary/casual staff for coverage of employee absences, with supply staff assigned as needed. All interested applicants are encouraged to apply. Requirements

1. Pastoral Reference Letter from a Roman Catholic Parish, or proof of practicing Roman Catholic (dated within the past 12 months).
2. Certification and good standing with the Ontario College of Teachers (OCT). Candidates with a Transitional Certificate or pending OCT are welcome to apply.
3. Qualifications in Instrumental Music, Vocal Music, or other music areas as recorded by OCT.
4. Practicum reports for teacher evaluations or performance appraisals (for experienced teachers).
5. Resume and Cover Letter addressed to the Sr. Manager of Recruitment, Human Resources.
6. Two references from Associate/Host Teachers or an alternative reference (e.g., Principal).
